BUNZL National Account Coordination Manager in St. Louis, Missouri

The National Account Coordination Manager, will be responsible for leading and executing the Distribution Division’s National Account sales operations activities.

This individual will have responsibility for the development, implementation and management of streamlined sales operational processes that enable the national account selling organization to focus on customer revenue-generating activities.

This position will have oversight of associates responsible for executing various sales support process and being an internal liaison to the selling organization. This individual will foster close working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the overall productivity and effectiveness of the role.

This role is based in St. Louis, Missouri and is not remote.

Responsibilities

  • Support National Account Leadership in the development and execution of sales operational processes that enable commercial team members to focus on customer-facing revenue generating activities. This position plays a key role as the internal liaison for selling

  • Responsible for the execution of sales processes that include, but are not limited to: Proposal management, pipeline tracking and management, customer key performance indicator management, oversight and communication of metrics (sales, margin pricing, etc.), forecasting and collaboration with demand planning, order dropship processing, customer item lifecycle management, and collaboration of price and margin management

  • Responsible for the operational implementation of new business opportunities. Includes, but not limited to: Customer engagement, coordination with internal stakeholders through customer on- boarding, oversight of project/opportunity management throughout

  • Leads a change management process to build organizational understanding of proposed changes, establish support from key leadership stakeholders, and effectively implement new deployment and job

  • Monitors the performance of the Corporate Account Coordinators and hold employees accountable for meeting their job duties and responsibilities for the department.

  • Responsible for accounts receivable collection process, activities, and best practices; work performed is in collaboration with sales

  • Actively participate in supporting business strategy through the effective leadership, development of Corporate Account Coordinators and partnership with members of the supervisory and management teams through multiple functional

  • Successfully supervise and lead employees through ongoing communication, evaluation, teaching, coaching, feedback and role modeling.

  • Develop and facilitate effective performance reviews to ensure employees understand their contribution to Bunzl’s business strategy, provide constructive feedback and foster an environment of empowerment and accountability

  • In conjunction with the sales operations leadership and sales leaders, ensures appropriate and effective department staffing consistent with business needs and expectations as indicated by the department’s resource

  • Proactively lead conversations and drive improvements with customer feedback, industry benchmarks, and productivity

Requirements:

  • High school diploma required

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or relevant preferred

  • 3-5 years related experience or equivalent combination of education.

  • 3-5 years supervisory or management experience leading a team.

  • Strong understanding sales and sales operations

  • Demonstrated ability leading through influence across all levels of the organization.

  • The ability to develop and drive recommendation through the organization, showing initiative across functions.

  • Proven and accomplished in influencing teams internally while forging exceptional external relationships with internal and external key stakeholders in the business.

  • Strong analytical capabilities, forward thinking, strategically agile, innovative, and comfortable with ambiguity and driving change across the

  • Exceptional communication skills and capable of forging strong, impactful cross-functional relationships.

  • Exceptional EQ and influencing skills.
