Adecco US, Inc. HVAC/Refrigeration Mechanic in St Louis, Missouri

Overview: Join our team as an HVAC/Refrigeration Mechanic dedicated to supporting and maintaining our GMP food manufacturing facility and utility systems. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of critical utility systems such as HVAC, Boiler/Hot Water, Compressed Air, Chillers, and other building equipment. Your responsibilities will include responding to maintenance issues during manufacturing campaigns, contributing to operational performance improvements, and upholding strict safety and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on HVAC, refrigeration, and other assigned equipment to ensure optimal functionality.

  • Accurately record maintenance activities in logbooks, forms, and work order systems as required.

  • Coordinate and schedule maintenance and repairs with internal teams and external contractors.

  • Assist in overseeing technician and contractor activities, reviewing work orders, and assigning tasks.

  • Respond promptly to equipment alarms and critical maintenance needs.

  • Inspect and maintain building and support equipment to ensure reliable operation.

  • Manage parts inventory for equipment and order supplies as needed.

  • Support equipment installations and modifications as directed by the maintenance manager.

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas and support housekeeping tasks as assigned.

  • Assist with other duties and projects as required.

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required; Two-year Technical degree and 6 years of industry experience OR 8 years of industry experience.

  • State Electrical License or HVAC License is a plus.

  • Advanced mechanical skills with expertise in air compressors, refrigeration, HVAC, and Chillers.

  • Proficiency in painting, carpentry, and small-scale construction preferred.

  • Experience managing parts inventory and working in a fast-paced cGMP production environment.

  • Ability to work overtime, off shifts, and on-call as needed.

  • Strong team player with the ability to work independently and self-motivated.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Proficiency in PC skills and Microsoft Office applications.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Hours : 1st shift M-F

Competitive pay and full benefits

Pay Details: $30.00 to $45.00 per hour
