Who are you at Neighbors Credit Union?

As the Home Equity Loan Processor, you will act as a liaison between the borrower, underwriter and loan originator while providing world-class member service.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities and Daily Job Duties

  • Works with members to originate, process and close their home equity loanProcesses members requests for advances on their HELOC and other account related requestsCross-sell products and services that best fit our members needsGathers customer information and supporting documentation. Enters customer information into systems. Verifies the accuracy of documentation.Ensures all deeds are correctly recorded and release when necessaryPerforms other duties as assigned

  • Meet monthly new loan goalsTo be detail oriented and to ensure that members documents are correctFollow policies and procedures that have been established for the department

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • One year to three years of similar or related experience.

  • Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for the purpose of first-level conflict resolution, building relationships, and soliciting cooperation. Discussions involve a higher degree of confidentiality and discretion, requiring diplomacy and tact in communication.

  • Must have good communication skills; 10-key calculator and keyboard skills required.

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent

  • Monday through Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm rotating Saturdays 9:00 am to 12:00pm
