Robert Half Accounts Payable Manager in St. Louis, Missouri

Description We are offering a contract role for an Accounts Payable Manager in the heart of St. Louis, Missouri. This position is within the telecom industry, where you will be responsible for processing customer credit applications, maintaining accurate customer credit records, and resolving customer credit inquiries.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the processing and payment of invoices in a timely manner

• Oversee the processing of customer credit applications accurately and efficiently

• Ensure the maintenance of accurate customer credit records

• Resolve customer credit inquiries and issues promptly

• Monitor customer credit accounts and take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments

• Utilize Accounting Software Systems, ADP - Financial Services, Concur, Data Processing, ERP Solutions for efficient management of accounts

• Oversee Accounting Functions, Accounts Payable (AP), Check Processing, Discrepancy, Expense Reporting

• Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and keep up-to-date with changes

• Liaise with other departments to ensure smooth interdepartmental operations

• Provide financial reports as required by the management.

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services for managing payroll and employee benefits

• Skills in using Concur for travel and expense management

• Ability to process large volumes of data accurately and efficiently

• Knowledge of ERP Solutions for managing business processes

• Understanding of Accounting Functions and their role in business operations

• Experience managing Accounts Payable (AP) including invoice processing, payment authorizations, and vendor communication

• Familiarity with Check Processing procedures and protocols

• Ability to identify and resolve Discrepancies in financial reports and statements

• Experience with Expense Reporting procedures, regulations, and best practices.
