ARCO is currently seeking a Sr. HR Manager, Compliance to join our team in our Brentwood, MO office. This role will be a key leader in navigating HR compliance initiatives that span across multiple corporate functions. They will be responsible for ensuring our 6B organization remains compliant across 46 U.S. cities, Canada, Mexico, and future international markets.

A DAY IN THE LIFE

  • Monitor changes in HR legislation and make recommendations to develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations.

  • Lead international employment expansion efforts including developing new policies and partnering with international counsel.

  • Manage the company’s global immigration program.

  • Partner widely to ensure compliance with federal affirmative action plan requirements.

  • Collaborate with legal counsel and other internal stakeholders to manage and respond to escalated HR-related legal issues.

  • Ensure all annual compliance reporting obligations are fulfilled.

  • Oversee background check processes and escalation.

  • Ensure all annual compliance training obligations are met. This may include partnering with vendors to implement, create content, track completion records, and more.

  • Provide guidance and training to HR staff and other stakeholders on compliance issues and best practices.

NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS

  • 10-15 years of experience in HR compliance function

  • Bachelor’s degree, Masters preferred

  • Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders across our business

  • A confident, influential communicator and presenter

  • Excellent organizational and planning skills

  • Superior project management and time management skills

  • Self-motivated with a positive and professional approach

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
