What you`ll do

Our unit develops and operates a central cloud operations management suite to enable efficient operations of SAPs Cloud offerings such as SAP Enterprise Cloud Services, SAP S/4HANA Cloud, SAP Business Technology Platform, and many others. We are looking for a Senior Performance engineer to strengthen our Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team to safeguard our service availability, and to ensure high performance of the services.

As a Senior Performance engineer in our SRE team, you will:

• proactively design and plan service infrastructure enhancements.

• define operations and performance key figures and checks and monitor them jointly with our operations team.

• analyze and investigate issues, as well as initiate and track its resolutions.

• provide transparency on the health and performance status of our services.

What you bring

• Deep knowledge in performance tools & analysis for ABAP systems and HANA databases.

• Expertise in cloud lifecycle management and cloud operations related processes, tools, and technologies.

• Expertise in ABAP or HANA administration

• Programming knowledge is beneficial.

• Team player with strong analytical skills and can-do attitude

• Language skills: main business language is English, German language skills are beneficial.
