Job Summary

STRONG 340B PHARMACY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Working as part of an integrated cross-functional team, Business Intelligence (BI) Analysts turn data into information and knowledge, understand how that information/knowledge supports and enables key business processes, and communicate those insights for maximum business impact. BI Analysts contribute to the business intelligence, reporting, and data analysis needs of the organization. It is essential that BI Analysts build an understanding of the business at a level of detail that enables them to identify and address critical issues. They provide data that is accurate, congruent, and reliable, and ensure the information is easily available to users for direct consumption or integration with other systems. BI Analysts educate and train customers to use data as an analytical tool. BI Analysts work with customers to determine business requirements, priorities, and define key performance indicators (KPI). This includes working with business or clinical teams to design and document dashboards, alerts, reports, or applications.This role is accountable for facilitating information gathering, structured documentation, and presenting findings. BIAnalysts must have an interest in going beyond the obvious to create information, find insights, and turn those insightsinto a story to drive impact and better decision-making. They must work well within a team environment.

Essential Functions

STRONG 340B PHARMACY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Create visual design solutions and easy-to-understand reports and dashboards that deliver insights.

  • Analyzes, designs, codes, configures, tests, debugs, deploys, documents and maintains reporting assets.

  • Utilizes appropriate methodologies for collecting, analyzing, and presenting data and information by making use of basic BI reporting tools.

  • Works with internal/external team(s) to define necessary information and create solutions based on requirements.

  • Works with Sr. and Lead Analysts to ensure that processes and services are continuously monitored for data accuracy, quality, effectiveness, and efficiency.

  • Supports processes and quality improvement activities.

  • Participates in Agile ceremonies determining the nature and scope of project activities and processes to be developed or modified, working across teams to communicate development dependencies to accomplish final solution.

  • Performs job-related duties in conformance with DS standards. Coaches less experienced Business Intelligence Analysts.

  • Provides analytics that can turn data into critical information in understanding a systemic business need.

Qualifications

  • Required Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in business, liberal arts, computer science, application programming, software development, information systems, database administration, mathematics, engineering, or other related field

  • 2 years of relevant experience Required

  • This position will:

  • -P rovide support to ensure compliance of the pharmacy 340B program

  • -Work closely with pharmacy staff, software companies, wholesalers, and pharmaceutical manufacturers

  • -Participate in the ongoing maintenance of program policies and procedures

  • -Maintain required 340B program records

  • -Performs audits to ensure compliance with policy and/or regulatory requirements

  • Ideal candidate will be a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) or possessing 340B ACE Certification or 340B experience

  • Ideal candidate will be Analytical and Solution-Oriented
