Coborn's, Incorporated Refrigeration Project Lead in St. Cloud, Minnesota

Overview As the Refrigeration Project Lead, you will direct and lead refrigeration projects across the organization. You will be responsible for providing recommendations for refrigeration systems and overseeing the installation, assisting with capitol expense requests, tracking, and ensuring compliance. As the Refrigeration Project Lead, you will partner with the leadership team on annual planning processes as well as leading projects, with a focus on refrigeration & HVAC, for new construction and remodel projects as well as routine maintenance and replacements. This position provides direct leadership and supervise the facilities refrigeration team. Requirements All functions to be performed according to the established standard and in compliance with all company policies and procedures while maintaining regular, prompt attendance and availability to work outside of standard business hours: Operations & Project Delivery Review contractor and manufacturer engineering calculations for new and existing refrigeration systems to ensure proper system and sizing capacities. Advise management in the design and evaluation of refrigerated equipment. Create equipment installation specifications. Oversee the installation of refrigerated equipment for new and remodel projects. Review routine maintenance and service of refrigeration systems performed by contractors and internal staff. Maintain refrigerant repair requests through company maintenance system. Track and ensure compliance of refrigerant use per EPA and OSHA requirements. Manage energy management systems and installation. Diagnose and repair commercial refrigeration and HVAC equipment. May need to be available for after hours to ensure proper operational support. Ensure all work orders are assigned correctly and completed on time; track and maintain all workorders in the systems. Relationship Management Act as a liaison between stores, office, and contractors to promote continuity between departments. Coordinate with store operations and leadership to plan all details for maintenance, repairs, installations and upgrades. Maintain high standards with service level with operations and the maintenance and construction teams. Communication effectively and build positive relationships to ensure effective execution of projects and timely and efficient problem resolution. Effectively build and manage positive relationships with external partners to support timely and efficient technical resolution and support. Leadership & Mentorship: Serve as a resource, mentor, and a point of contract for the Facilities Maintenance team and other project support positions; assist with training and providing peer-to-peer support and feedback. Will partner to create, assess, and maintain business process standards and reference documents for business area. Develop a culture that engages employees, builds team spirit and morale through recognition, accountability, coaching for talent development, and urgency. Provide direct leadership to the facilities refrigeration team and actively partner with department leadership and Human Resources to anticipate and recognize staffing needs, recruit, hire, train, develop and retain top talent. Assist management with capitol expense requests for new refrigeration equipment. Review and approve refrigeration repair and maintenance invoices. Perform other duties within the Maintenance Department and other areas as assigned. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
