Overview Are you looking to take the next step in your IT career? The Application Support Specialist position at Coborn's Inc. allows you to elevate your skills while learning from our team of experts! As the Application Support Specialist, you will provide mid-level technology support and training for business partners and end users! You will maintain, analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve computer application issues and communicate solutions and resolutions effectively. Aside from building your partnerships within the organization, you will lead computer application maintenance and upgrade initiatives, which includes documenting, installing, testing and ongoing maintenance; ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards and collaborating effectively with the Solution Analysts on business process impacts. Requirements Additional duties include: Operations: Provide mid-level technology support for business partners and end users and communicate solutions and resolutions effectively with a high level of priority. After hours support may be required to ensure business operations are supported timely with minimal disruption to the business. Maintain, analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex computer application issues; assess root cause and proactively partner with the Solution Analysts on impacts to applicable business requirements and processes. Proactively analyze documented support requests looking for continuous improvements and performance enhancements of solution and/or recommend new technology options. Solution Delivery & Project Support: Lead all aspects of solution maintenance and upgrades to include but not limited to, documentation, installation, and testing, ensuring compliance with regulatory and company standards. Partner with the Solution Analyst to identify business requirements, develop functional design specifications to meet requirements and build and maintain system workflows and processes that support the business. Assist in in developing and maintaining application job aids and technology process documentation; provide training to end-users and the IT support team on supported applications. Actively participate in technology projects and collaborate with business partners, other IT staff and vendors to implement quality solutions in areas of expertise. Relationship Management: Communicate effectively and build positive relationships with the IT team, business areas and project stakeholders across the organization. Establish a deep level of application and business knowledge and work with Solution Analysts and business areas to propose, prioritize and deploy continuous improvement of solutions. Work collaboratively across the organization to ensure solutions are compliant and secure. Effectively build and manage positive relationships with external providers for solution resolution, delivery and application support. Assist IT Solution Analyst with questions in their respective areas of expertise. Perform other duties within the IT Department or other areas as assigned.
