1st shift: 6:00am-2:30pm (OT is available)

Description:

Job Summary:

This position is responsible for the assembly of low and medium voltage electrical switchgear cabinets for the manufacturer of products. Assemblers will be responsible for taking a blueprint or work order, gathering appropriate materials and hardware, using hand and power tools to follow the work instructions and perform a basic inspection to ensure the product is manufactured with quality.

Essential Job Functions:

• interpret assembly and elevation drawings

• constructs electrical cabinets

• read tape measures

• experience using manual hand tools (wrench, screwdriver, pliers)

• experience with power tools (drill, impact, pneumatic torque wrench)

• Follow Control document procedures

• follow wiring diagrams and schematics

• install pre-wired panel into control box

• terminate wiring based schematics

• read, and understand blueprints, schematic drawings to determine wiring layout
