Job Description Summary

The XEOS Communications & Compliance Lead Specialist is a role with combined compliance and communications responsibilities, split approximately equally. This role will be critical to the growth of the XEOS Compliance Program as the joint venture operations ramp-up over 2024 and 2025.

Communication: Creating and sustaining a cadence of communications for a variety of audiences including local employees, local press, community organizations, and other employees that are stakeholders at the site. This includes the tactical implementation of a proactive site-based communication plan.

Compliance: Leading, developing and managing the XEOS Joint Venture’s Compliance Program in line with GE Aerospace’s compliance principles, & providing compliance support, governance and leadership to the XEOS’s leadership team.

Job Description

Communication:

  • Document and follow communications approval process to ensure that messages are reviewed by legal, employee relations, etc., as needed.

  • Ensuring a proactive compliance communication plan is a part of the regular cadence of information sharing at the site.

  • Create a regular cadence of communication to keep employees informed.

  • Create, edit, distribute short video messages.

  • Curate and edit stories for internal and external sharing on intranet, websites, newsletters, etc.

  • Train local leaders on expectations related to communications flow down..

  • Align with GE Aerospace Communications team.

Compliance:

  • Lead the compliance program, in close coordination with the business and regional compliance team.

  • Grow a compliance network consisting of dotted-line, part-time site compliance representatives & ombuds to promote open reporting and an integrity culture.

  • Partner with Aerospace business compliance leaders, to contribute to the design and implement compliance programs involving the code of conduct (Spirit & the Letter) policies and risk areas.

  • Partner with the central compliance investigations team or legal team to ensure early detections of risks and gaps and develop effective corrective actions; on occasion conduct compliance investigations or oversee compliance investigations.

  • Partner, mentor and coach local part-time ombuds.

  • Co-ordinate the annual Risk Assessment Process at the site.

Qualifications :

  • At least 3- 5 years of experience in a compliance, risk management, corporate communication or legal position.

  • Ability to effectively prioritize and delegate/manage multiple tasks

  • Strong inter-personal skills, good communicator, internally and externally, and a team player. Fluency in English and Polish.

  • Ability to interact and influence effectively at all levels of an organization.

  • Strong leadership skills to lead, coach, develop team members, and work in a matrixed organization.

  • High-energy, self-motivated, confident and positive leader willing to partner beyond geographic and organizational boundaries.

  • An integrity mind-set and a passion for excellence.
