CACI’s Transport and Cybersecurity Service (TCS) program is looking for an (ISSM) Information Assurance/Security Specialist Lead to join our team. As the Team Lead, you will report to the Cybersecurity Chief of Engineering and perform vulnerability/risk analyses of computer systems and applications during all phases of the system development life cycle, and coordinate the identification, reporting, and resolution of security violations. In addition, you will oversee the implementation of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) across multiple networks within the customer organization.

What You’ll Get to Do:

  • Lead and manage a team of ISSOs responsible for the security of various information systems and major applications.

  • Oversee the entire RMF cycle, including initiation, categorization, selection, implementation, assessment, authorization, and continuous monitoring.

  • Develop and maintain system security plans (SSPs) and associated documentation for each system under management.

  • Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability assessments to identify and mitigate security risks.

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant security policies, standards, and guidelines, including NIST SP 800 series.

  • Coordinate with system owners, stakeholders, and external assessors to facilitate security assessments and authorization processes.

  • Provide guidance and support to system owners and developers on security requirements and best practices.

  • Stay up-to-date with emerging threats and technologies in the cybersecurity field and make recommendations for improvements.

  • Prepare and present security briefings and reports to senior management and stakeholders.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications

  • DoDD 8140.01 / 8570.01-M IAT Level II Certification

  • Security Clearance: Active TS/SCI (must be able to obtain CI poly after start)

  • At least 5 years of experience in information security, with a focus on RMF and system security.

  • BS degree (or equivalent experience) in Cybersecurity, Information Security, IT, EE, Network Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. Additional years of experience and cyber certifications may be considered in lieu of degree.

  • Experience in FISMA and other information assurance assurance-related compliance reporting.

  • Motivated self-starter with ability to work in a matrix organization and communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.

  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, standards, and best practices.

  • Experience managing a team of security professionals.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Proven ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience with tools and technologies used in security assessment and monitoring (e.g., ACAS, HBSS, SIEM).

These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have:

  • Master’s degree in Information Security or related field.

  • Experience working in a government or defense contracting environment.

  • Experience with cloud security and FedRAMP compliance.

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$94,400 - $198,300
