Clark State College Box Office Assistant, Part-time in Springfield, Ohio
The Performing Arts Center (PAC) Part-Time Ticket Office Employee assists the PAC Ticket Office Manager in selling tickets for all events that perform in the Clark State Performing Arts Center. They also help as needed with some reporting, PAC out-reach, and other duties to help patrons of the PAC.
The right candidate would need to be comfortable answering and speaking on the phone, selling tickets over the phone or in person, answering basic questions about the performances (date, time, etc.) and ticket prices, balancing a cash drawer (few patrons use cash -- most use credit card but every now and then, there are patrons who use cash), and having good customer service. The majority of their hours would be between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. although occasional evenings/weekends (usually Saturday evenings from 6 p.m. -- 9 p.m.) may be required.
Duties Include:
Answering phones at the PAC ticket office
Selling tickets over phone and face to face using the PAC Etix platform
Answering questions about all upcoming events at the PAC
Reporting daily ticket sales as needed
Helping with PAC Out-Reach that might include compiling mailings, etc.
Assisting the PAC Ticket Office Manager with day-to-day ticket office operations
Working will call and face to face sales the night of shows
Requirements:
High School diploma required
Exceptional customer service skills
Ability to learn and use the Etix ticketing platform
Detail oriented

Hours: Varied including weekends and nights. Ticket office is open Monday-Fridays 9AM-5PM, plus 2 hours before each show through intermission. This position may work no more than 28 hours per week.
