Job Description: We are currently seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our team. As a Press Brake Operator, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing process, ensuring the precise bending and shaping of metal components for various construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent technical skills, and a commitment to safety and quality, aligning with our core values. This will be back half of the week (Wed - Sat) or Night Shifts. Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate press brake machinery to bend, shape, and form metal components according to specifications
  • Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work orders to determine appropriate bending sequences and dimensions
  • Select and install appropriate tooling and dies for each job
  • Monitor machine operations to ensure accuracy and quality of finished products
  • Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Press Brake Operator or similar role in a manufacturing or construction environment
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints
  • Strong mathematical skills and ability to perform basic calculations
  • Knowledge of different types of metal and their properties
  • Familiarity with press brake machinery and tools
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent attention to detail and precision
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Commitment to safety and quality standards, reflecting our core values

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Vocational training or certification in metal fabrication or a related field
  • Prior experience operating other types of metal fabrication machinery
  • Forklift certification
