THE JOB: It is the responsibility of the Plant Engineer Operations to perform project maintenance and repairs including installation work on all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing equipment and systems within the plant and building. All duties are to be performed in accordance with federal, state, local laws, regulations, and ordinances, as well as department and Company policies, practices, and procedures. STARTING PAY: \$35.45 per hour THE DAY-TO-DAY: Perform maintenance and repair work on mechanical and electrical equipment and systems Read and understand blue prints and wiring schematics to install and work on electrical components Stay informed on current techniques and technical methods and advise Shift Supervisor of any unusual conditions within the property THE IDEAL CANDIDATE: Ability to work as a part of a team in a high-stress and high-volume environment Ability to work in and adapt to a dynamic and frequently changing environment Ability to adhere to and execute established department policies and procedures Ability to work under pressure while being able to pay attention to details Excellent customer service skills Ability to maintain professional, neat, and well-groomed appearance, adhering to department and company standards Possess intrapersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both oral and written forms REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum two (2) years of experience in at least one of the following related trades: electrical, mechanical, plumbing, refrigeration, or kitchen equipment.
