Description

We are searching for a Controller to join our team based in Springfield, Massachusetts. In this role, you will be responsible for various accounting tasks, including assisting with day-to-day accounting operations, supporting the month-end close process, and facilitating financial reporting and analysis.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the day-to-day accounting operations ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

• Support the month-end close process, ensuring timely completion and accuracy.

• Manage financial reporting tasks to aid in the monthly analysis of results.

• Utilize advanced Excel skills for various accounting tasks and reporting.

• Leverage NetSuite experience to streamline operations and enhance financial processes.

• Perform account reconciliation to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.

• Assist in the preparation of journal entries and maintain documentation for reference and audit purposes.

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of accounting processes and procedures within the organization.

• Ensure compliance with all internal controls and established policies and procedures.

• Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support.

Requirements • Proficiency in the execution of Month End Close procedures

• Experience in creating and maintaining Journal Entries

• Demonstrated ability in performing Account Reconciliation

• Familiarity with the use of NetSuite accounting software

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial data management and analysis
