What you’ll be doing:
Develop and execute efficient, effective, and innovative recruitment strategies based on open positions, industry standards, and the specific needs of the team.
Partner with hiring managers and key stakeholders to understand both immediate and long-term staffing requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Proactively source qualified candidates through various channels, including social media platforms, online job boards, cold calling, and other recruitment methods.
Establish and maintain relationships with trade schools to coordinate recruitment efforts, including classroom presentations and post-graduation placement opportunities.
Operate with a high level of independence, while consistently communicating and documenting all recruitment efforts and activities.
Conduct initial candidate screenings and assessments, and present qualified candidates to hiring managers for further review and consideration.
Oversee the scheduling of interviews and provide additional support throughout the hiring process as requested by hiring managers or management.
Build, maintain, and manage a pipeline of leads for both current and future employment opportunities.
Interact professionally with employees, candidates, customers, and external suppliers, maintaining the company's reputation as a respected employer.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Successful Candidate Must Possess the Following Qualifications:
2-5 years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition, ideally within the home services industry (HVAC, plumbing, or electrical sectors preferred).
Proven success in sourcing, screening, and placing qualified candidates in a high-demand, skilled labor environment.
Experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and various recruiting tools such as job boards, social media platforms, and networking to source candidates.
Ability to develop and implement effective recruitment strategies that align with business goals and industry trends
Strong verbal and written communication skills for engaging with candidates, hiring managers, and stakeholders.
Ability to convey the company’s value proposition effectively to prospective candidates.
Proficiency in establishing and maintaining professional relationships with trade schools, candidates, and internal teams to ensure smooth recruitment processes.
Expertise in proactively identifying and engaging qualified candidates through diverse sourcing methods (e.g., social media, job boards, networking).
Building and maintaining a pipeline of potential candidates for future opportunities.
Ability to manage multiple recruitment projects, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality results.
Adept at identifying recruitment challenges and implementing creative solutions to address staffing needs.
Flexibility to adjust recruiting strategies in response to changing market conditions or staffing requirements.
Ability to work independently and handle various tasks with minimal supervision.
Ensures accurate documentation, tracking, and reporting of recruiting activities and candidate progress.
Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with a wide range of individuals, from trade school representatives to candidates and company leadership.
Competency with applicant tracking systems (ATS), CRM software, and social media platforms to streamline the recruitment process and maintain candidate records.
Maintains confidentiality and professionalism in all aspects of the recruiting process, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal standards.
