Job Purpose and Impact

The General Laborer II will perform physical production and warehouse responsibilities with an understanding of policies and procedures with regular guidance. In this role, you will support production operations while following all Food Safety and regulatory polices as required.

Principal Accountabilities

• Grab and lift boxes from conveyor to be palletize by code number. Each pallet contains 50 boxes or depending on order

• Lift box and place it on pallet. Keep box close to your body and avoid jerking movements while placing boxes on the top of the pallet. Do not toss boxes onto pallet

• EE needs to grab box with both hands firmly using proper lifting techniques and keeping the box close to his body

• Once the pallet gets full, the product is removed from the line and an empty pallet is placed. EE should follow safety procedures when setting the pallet down.Never throw or toss a pallet while placing it on the floor

• If pallet is full and not removed, shut off the conveyor belt until pallet is removed. After empty pallet has been removed, place an empty pallet

• EE will stack the box on the pallet as close as possible; overreaching while tossing box might cause an injury

• Do not mix product codes on pallets

Required Qualifications

• Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship

• Must be 18 years or older

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous production experience

• Previous Cargill experience

• Current Work history in the past 12 month
