Description:
A local Managed Services Provider is looking to add an IT Service Desk/Support Specialist to their team.
On Sundays: They will be onsite providing IT support at Christian Life Center responsible for troubleshooting any hardware or software issues that may arise, as well as help set up equipment or new users.
The other 3 days, they will be onsite at the main office working with the team supporting other customers remotely. The ideal candidate has a minimum 2 years of IT Support (phone and in-person) supporting hardware and software, including Windows systems. They should have prior O365 administration (not just support) experience and knowledge/familiarity with troubleshooting networks and wireless issues.
Ideally this person will come from another MSP , or a small to mid-size environment/team. This is not a traditional level 1 helpdesk/password reset role. They will also assist with imaging and deployments when needed. Customer service mentality and professionalism is important.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
This role is part of a cross-functional team while handling multiple tasks concurrently.
· Provide remote & in-person technical support, incident, &^ problem management to end-sures on technology issues regarding computer operations, software support, setups and error messages.
· In-person support includes 5-6 hours on Sundays (with flexibility to be off a weekday)
· Troubleshoot & support software applications & business processes
· Troubleshoot & repair new or existing hardware
· Analyzes & tests new hardware / software configurations
· Provide technical support for local & remote laptop users including rebuild, reimage, remote support, & VPN support
· Assist the technical lead with projects from implementation through testing & production
· Accurately update applications, websites, & content management systems
· Accurately update & maintain electronic records with current data.
