Description

We're seeking a dedicated Accounts Payable Specialist for one of our reputable clients in the construction industry. This key position will handle tasks from credit card and bank account reconciliation to generating purchase orders when necessary and coding invoices. Prior experience in the construction or manufacturing industries is a plus but not a requirement.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process and code invoices per company policy.

• Execute monthly credit card and bank account reconciliation.

• Generate and issue purchase orders as required.

• Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate and timely month-end account closures.

• Liaise effectively with vendors and key contacts within the company.

  Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.

• Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Specialist.

• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and accounts payable procedures.

• Proficiency in MS Excel and knowledge of other accounting software.

• Good communication and organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.

• Experience in construction or manufacturing industry is preferred but not required.
