Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Web Developer in Spring Hill, Tennessee. The primary industry of this role is technology, with a focus on web development and maintenance. As a Web Developer, you will be tasked with maintaining and updating WordPress core systems and ensuring the correct functioning of customer interfaces.

Responsibilities:

• Handle any issues that arise during WordPress core updates.

• Develop and implement updates to the WordPress core system.

• Resolve any technical issues that may affect the functionality of the website.

• Collaborate with the team to implement new features and improvements to the website.

• Utilize PHP and WordPress skills to improve website performance.

• Monitor website performance and take necessary actions to improve it.

• Identify and resolve any potential issues that may affect customer experience.

• Maintain accurate documentation of website updates and changes.

• Collaborate with other team members to ensure the smooth running of the website.

• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to implement in the website development process. Requirements • Proficiency in PHP is mandatory.

• Demonstrated experience with WordPress is essential.

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field is required.

• Must showcase a strong understanding of UI, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions, and standards.

• Experience in planning and delivering software platforms used across multiple products and organizational units.

• Deep expertise and hands-on experience with Web Applications and programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, and API's.

• Strong grasp of security principles and how they apply to E-Commerce applications.

• Comfortable working in a team environment, as well as independently.

• Strong problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented mindset.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary.

• Must be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

• A portfolio showcasing previous work with web development is highly desired.
