DESCRIPTION OF WORK Our Custodial Worker 1s perform a wide variety of deep cleaning, general cleaning, and restocking of supplies. Deep cleaning is performed in areas such as resident rooms, common areas, offices, nursing stations, security desks, kitchen areas, staff breakrooms, and transportation vehicles. General cleaning duties include mopping, scrubbing, waxing, polishing, dusting, sweeping, and buffing of all surfaces including floors, walls, windows, handrails, elevators, resident rooms, resident furniture, and furniture in common areas. In addition, you restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, and chemical cleaners as needed or requested.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Full-time employment, 37.5 hour work week Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM with rotating days and weekends and a 30-minute lunch. Preferred Qualifications (not required): Willingness to work in Spring City, Chester County, Pennsylvania Willingness to work a full-time schedule Willingness to work all shifts Experience as a custodian, janitor, or cleaning person (Experience might include such things as cleaning restrooms; cleaning resident rooms, offices or public areas; mopping, scrubbing, dusting, sweeping, and buffing) Work experience in an assisted living facility, nursing home, or hospital Work experience interacting with patients or residents while cleaning in patient or resident rooms or a dining room setting Work experience with cleaning bodily fluids and disposing infectious waste into proper storage areas Work experience with removing snow, trash, and debris from sidewalks and entrance ways Work experience with using and mixing chemicals or solvents Work experience using manual or power equipment to mop, scrub, sweep, strip, wax, and buff floors Legal Requirements:
A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination and a drug screening. This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act. Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
