Description Registered Nurse - Wound Ostomy at Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center & Children's Hospital The Wound Ostomy Continence (WOC) RN, under the general direction of the Director, is a Registered Nurse with specialized skill in providing ostomy, wound and skin care to select patient populations. The WOC RN utilizes the nursing process to assess, develop a nursing diagnosis, develop a plan of care with appropriate interventions and evaluate the effects of the plan. The WOC RN is involved in consulting with other health care providers in making recommendations for care or providing direct care to the ostomy patients, wound care patients and patients in need of skin care as requested. Providence is offering up to $20,000 hiring bonus for ligible external candidates who meet all conditions for payment. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Upon hire: Washington Registered Nurse License Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association 2 years Clinical experience in an acute setting Preferred Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited school with a Wound Ostomy and Continence Program Why Join Providence?
