Summary: Responsible for facilitation, development, and delivery of digital literacy and digital career training programs administered by Goodwill. Instruct students individually or in groups, using various teaching methods. Observe and evaluate students' performance and provide guidance. Plan and conduct activities for instruction, utilizing approved curriculum. Must pass driver, background and fingerprint check. Thoroughly review, understand, implement, and monitor contracts and/or service guidelines for all assigned programs to meet expectations and requirements.

Education and/or Experience: Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school (Bachelor's degree preferred); or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Prepare and teach digital skills training courses to include: digital literacy, basic digital training, entry and mid-level digital career training curriculum.

Facilitate the Google IT Support Professional Certificate program.

Create learner centered lesson plans.

Maintain and revise curriculum support materials to ensure it's up-to-date.

Employ learning strategies and instructional materials for different learning styles.

Create and model a quality learning environment that supports a diverse student population.

Conduct recruiting activities and ensure suitability for training programs.

Distribute information on digital careers to bring expand awareness.

Administer interest and aptitude tests related to digital careers.

Organize career exploration activities, such as speakers, tours, or job shadowing.

Ensure all documentation and related activities are current, accurate, and in compliance. Includes case notes, service reports, and attendance logs.

Translate program requirements and participant learning needs into trainings that will groom participants for the next step of education and/or employment.

Actively market training program to community.

Establish and maintain good working relationships with participant, referral agencies, community partners, and all team members.

Assist with credential attainment and provide job placement for course participants.

Maintain classroom and an inventory of information and technology equipment (hardware and software).

Provide a safe and orderly learning environment.

Ensure all data is submitted accurately and timely as required in the Continuous Quality Improvement Outcome Management System (CQI-OMS).

Facilitate a person-centered planning approach, which encourages independence and participant voice.

Attend meetings, conferences, and workshops to enhance skills, as approved or required by Manager.

Stay informed of state and federal laws affecting the organization and the people it serves.

Communicate necessary information to Director, program participants, and all employees along proper channels.

Thoroughly review, understand, implement, and monitor contracts and/or service guidelines for all assigned programs to meet expectations and requirements.

Assign and perform specific tasks to meet program compliance, goals, and objectives.

Meet or exceed budgeted net margin for all assigned areas.

Promoted services that assist individuals to achieve the highest level of independence.

Provide and oversee services in accordance with Goodwill policies, CARF standards, and principles of safety.
