    POSITION

    In this role, you will thrive in leading various engineering project design opportunities . The Senior Engineer will champion and lead the planning and design of airport projects for clients across a spectrum of project work from facilities, terminals, runways, navigation, and airspace studies to water, gas, and power design and analysis. These responsibilities include:

  • Expertly collaborates with clients to grasp project vision.

  • Oversee and lead project lifecycle from planning to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget.

  • Utilize design software for drafting plans and modeling.

  • Applies FAA and airport safety knowledge in design work.

  • Evaluate quality assurance and quality controls on project work within the team.

  • Analyze system deficiencies and provide improvement alternatives to meet project goals.

  • Applies technical writing skills for Request for Proposals, report writing, project specifications, and memorandums.

  • Ensures precision and safety through meticulous design.

  • Tackles design challenges creatively, resolving complex problems.

  • Engage with community members, government officials, and other stakeholders to communicate project goals, address concerns, and gather input.

  • Develop, inspire, and mentor reporting personnel.

  • Stays aware of federal regulations that impact the aviation industry.

  • Identifies and pursues new business opportunities, driving revenue growth and expanding market presence.

    YOUR STRENGTHS

  • Professional Engineering (PE) license or able to obtain soon after hire

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil or construction engineering or equivalent

  • Minimum 8+ years’ experience with airport design/construction projects

  • Advanced project management experience leading complex projects

  • Strong financial acumen

  • Working knowledge of FAA regulations and airport safety

  • Understanding of design software (e.g., Civil3D, Blue Beam)

  • Proven client growth mindset

  • A valid driver’s license and an insurable driving record is required for periodic travel
