ZAK DESIGNS INC Licensor Traffic Coordinator in SPOKANE, Washington

This position is responsible for updating item statues in our tracking system Wrike/Centric for licensed lines; monitoring the development process once items are identified; and communicating development progress and/or problems and delays to ICM, Art, Marketing, Purchasing. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The following is an overview of the main duties for this position and is not all inclusive of each task that may be performed in this role.

  • Submit and track our licensed submissions in our system. Includes saving concepts, taking sample photos, saving licensor comments, keeping accurate digital files throughout the approval process. Shipping pre-production and or Production/Contract samples to licensors. Issuing requests from our licensor for changes to concepts, and samples as needed to the Art Studio or our sister company.
  • Working directly with our licensor in their approval system or in email. To ensure licensed products are approved at each development stage. 
  • Communicating with the Licensor, Art Studio, other departments, and our sister company as needed.
  • Updating our training manual as changes occur.
Requirements

  • Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school and/or six months to one year related  experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to communicate both verbally and non-verbally with active listening and written communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively interact in one-on-one and small group situations with customers, clients, and other employees of the company.
  • Ability to balance and prioritize projects in a manner that will allow for prompt completion of the task.
  • Must be able to tactfully deal with various personalities throughout the company and deal effectively and professionally with internal and external customers.
  • Required program applications include: Microsoft Outlook (intermediate level), Microsoft Excel (intermediate level), Microsoft PowerPoint (intermediate level) and Microsoft Word (intermediate level).
