Job DescriptionAs a member of the CPC Family, your role is to promptly respond to customer inquiries, feedback, and resolve customer issues with the goal of satisfying the customer and enhancing the opinion of the company, while still maintaining the company’s interest. This role provides assistance in promoting the safe and reliable use of energy, through planning and installation of either natural gas or electric service. This is completed through the design and coordination of line and main extensions or rebuild of existing facilities in order to meet or exceed our customer’s expectations. There are several levels within the CPC job family, progression is based on performance, operational needs and scope complexity.

Requirements

Customer Project Coordinator I:

  • High School Diploma, GED, or Journeyman Card

  • Valid Driver's license and must be able to travel to job sites throughout Avista service territory.

  • Direct work experience directly related to GIS, planning, and/or designing construction of natural gas facilities with an emphasis in customer service is preferred.

  • Must have strong customer service skills.

  • Demonstrated skills in cooperating in a team environment, negotiation, problem solving, construction management, and excellent communication skills is a must.

  • Qualified applicants will have basic computer skills and ability to learn computer applications for construction design.

  • Strong working knowledge of key operation business process and core applications.

  • Ability to interpret and explain complex business processes and concepts.

Other combinations of education/experience may be considered.

Customer Project Coordinator II:

All the requirements for a Customer Project Coordinator I plus:

  • 3+ years work experience directly related to planning and designing of natural gas facilities with an emphasis in customer service.

  • Experience in construction field with knowledge of Avista’s electric preferred and natural gas infrastructure required.

C ustomer Project Coordinator I Starting Range: $65,410.37 - $84,379 per year, Full Range: $65,410 - $103,347 per year Customer Project Coordinator II Starting Range: $74,610.72 - $96,621 per year, Full Range: $74,611 - $118,631 per year
