SUMMARY Hands-on role to identify, evaluate, and implement systems, pay structures, and processes in alignment with the company's compensation strategy. The Compensation Analyst reports to the Compensation Manager and supports company-wide compensation plans that contribute to the attraction and retention of high performing individuals, while ensuring compliance with all legal requirements. This role provides analysis and recommendations for the organization to achieve desired compensation program objectives. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Oversees the daily operations of compensation programs including base pay, incentives, non-qualified deferred compensation, and equity plans. Manages the job description development and job evaluation processes. Assesses jobs and their respective duties to determine classification as exempt or non-exempt in compliance with FLSA requirements. Leads job pricing reviews ensuring integrity of market survey job matches and evaluates both external market data and internal data to determine compensation levels. Conducts cost modeling and impact analysis for pricing review projects. Completes market salary surveys on an annual basis or more frequently as needed. Administers the job description, survey data management, and equity plan systems, ensuring data integrity and full utilization of system capabilities. Administers annual compensation review process. Conducts research and analysis on market competitiveness, pay equity, and effectiveness of compensation programs. Recommends process improvements and efficiencies for compensation programs. Develops and maintains accurate compensation procedures and other internal procedure guidelines. Participates in and/or leads internal and/or external audits. Collaborates with Corporate Finance to project and manage the cost of compensation plans within budget. Ensures compensation practices are in compliance with all internal policies, SOX controls, regulatory guidance, and federal, state, and local wage laws. Assists with due diligence, analysis, recommendations and integration for Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A). Participates in compensation projects, accountable for project accuracy, progress, and deadlines.
