A growing organization is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join their accounting team. This role involves taking ownership of full-cycle accounts payable, handling everything from invoice coding to vendor communication and reconciliations. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage full-cycle accounts payable processes, including invoice receipt, coding, and approvals.

• Process check runs and ensure timely and accurate payment to vendors.

• Maintain regular communication with vendors to address inquiries, resolve discrepancies, and build strong relationships.

• Reconcile vendor statements and accounts to ensure all invoices and payments are properly recorded.

• Assist in month-end close tasks by preparing reports and ensuring payables are accurately reflected.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as all applicable regulations.

  Requirements

• Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Specialist or in a similar role.

• Strong knowledge of full-cycle AP processes, including invoice coding and check processing.

• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs).

• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time management skills.

• Effective communication skills for managing vendor relationships.

• Self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast-paced, on-site role.
