QA/QC Inspector

Fountain Services, LLC is seeking a qualified and experienced QA/QC Inspector responsible for the implementation of the Fountain Electric Project Support inspection process.

The position reports to the Spindale NC office and qualifies for full benefits after a 90-day introductory period.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Project Support Department will manage the daily onsite inspection of completed work. Through utilization of ProCore software and other technologies the inspectors will verify the proper completion and installation of the electrical systems per job specifications, national electric code, and company standards. The inspector will communicate any issues in the way of failure to properly complete work, failure to meet site schedules, and issues with general quality of the installations. The inspector will also report and correct any safety issues on a daily basis.

DAILY TASKS:

  • Physical inspections of completed work on assigned sites within the division

  • Application of National Electric Code standards to systems being inspected

  • Daily communication with the Quality department manager

  • Daily communication with site managers and assisting in corrective solutions when applicable

  • Generation of task lists and thorough documentation of inspected work

SCHEDULE:

The position will be assigned a schedule that coincides with our company projects. Some overtime will be required. Most projects work 7:00am- 3:30pm in a normally scheduled work week.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Standing/Upright work

Walking and climbing ladders/stairs

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Must have organizational skills NEC Knowledge

Must have communication skills Electrical installation experience

OSHA 10/30 is preferred
