Be a vital part of your community by being a public transit driver for residents of Lead and Deadwood. We are looking for a self-motivated individual who can safely operate an ADA compliant transit van independently on an assigned route (within an established time schedule). Must be able to deal with the public in a pleasant and courteous manner.

Essential Duties and responsibilities: -Operates ADA compliant transit van to provide public transportation for individuals while complying with all traffic laws and other required regulations. -Must be able to lift, stoop, and bend to be able to secure mobility devices such as wheelchairs. -Conducts themselves in an appropriate manner while working in a diverse work environment. -Preforms pre-trip inspection of van prior to beginning shift. -Maintains working knowledge of streets, current routes, as well as fare structure. -Collects and records fares. -Preforms fueling according to procedures. -Provide friendly, helpful customer service Qualifications: -Must be 25 years or older, -Must be dependable, -Must possess a valid driver's license, -Possess a clean driving record, -Pass pre-employment drug test and background screening.
