Tindall Corporation Lift Truck Operator/R1855/Spartanburg, SC in Spartanburg, South Carolina

This Position is for a Lift Truck Operator with a company located in Spartanburg,SC.

 

Job Summuary: Haul materials and supplies and trailers with a Lift Truck, up to 36K/Sqeeze Lift/Yard Truck (Spot Truck), that are too heavy or too bulky to be handled manually. Maintain general housekeeping of plant.

 

Duties and Responsibilities: Operate Lift or Truck to deliver supplies, forming, and product to trailers, storage, and production areas as needed. Load product onto trailers. Transport product to storage area. Wash screeds daily. Dispose of piled trash, wood, insulation, rubble, etc. and clean production areas. Off load trucks for Material Control as needed. Dump trash, waste materials, etc. from dumpsters daily. Perform miscellaneous duties as directed by Supervisor.

 

Education and Qualifications: Certificates, Licenses, Registration: Ability to pass and obtain equipment certification through our program. High School Diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 

 

Physical Requirements: Getting in and out of equipment and trailers throughout the day. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.

 

Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions. The employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
