Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity for an HR Generalist in the manufacturing industry, based in Spartanburg, South Carolina. You will be the focal point for all HR operations, ensuring smooth execution of tasks like processing applications, maintaining records, and resolving inquiries. This role involves thorough monitoring and management of customer accounts.

Responsibilities:

• Lead hourly recruitment efforts, partnering with hiring managers to fill production roles.

• Manage the onboarding process, including I-9 verification, drug screens, and new hire documentation.

• Assist in benefits enrollment and administration for new hires.

• Utilize ADP for HRIS management, handling employee data, reporting, and compliance.

• Generate HR-related reports from ADP and SuccessFactors to support business decisions.

• Use Microsoft Excel (VLookups, Pivot Tables) to analyze HR data and trends.

• Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and benefits.

• Support HR compliance efforts, ensuring adherence to company policies and employment laws.

• Partner with managers to address workforce concerns and employee development needs.

  Requirements

• Prior experience in an HR role within a manufacturing or operations environment (1-2 years)

• Applicant should have expertise in Benefit Functions

• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.

• Compliance knowledge is necessary for this role

• Experience in Employee Relations is important

• Understanding of FMLA (Family and Medical Leave Act) is required
