We are seeking an entry-level Associate Product Manager to join the team at our Taylor Water Technologies office in Sparks, MD.

WHAT YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE

We are looking for an Associate Product Manager to participate in managing the Taylor Water Technologies product portfolio. This position's goal is to drive product performance through cross-functional collaboration with marketing, sales, operations, quality, supply chain, finance, and senior leadership.

Your primary responsibilities include evaluating and maintaining Taylor’s current product portfolio, gathering product requirements, prioritizing feature implementations, and improving overall user experience.

The Associate Product Manager plays a key role in developing product road strategies, product launches, and product support for growth and profitability. Additionally, you will:

  • Participate in establishing the current and future product strategy based on an assessment of the competitive environment and customer requirements.

  • Participate in the development of and routine analysis of product and category KPI’s.

  • Evaluate the life cycle of products and categories to identify optimization and rationalization targets.

  • Provide contributions to the development of product positioning through enhancements, pricing, targeted promotions, and communications.

  • Understand each level of product production and the inputs required to bring a product to market.

  • Be a subject matter expert on competitive product offerings and how those offerings impact the Taylor Water Technologies business.

  • Analyze business results, including financial, customer, and internal process metrics.

  • Work with cross-functional key partners, including but not limited to Marketing, Sales, Operations, R&D, Customer Service, Supply Chain, Quality, and Regulatory.

  • Develop professional and technical product knowledge by taking opportunities to gain hands-on training, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.

  • Participate in project meetings and weekly calls and answer or provide timely follow-up to critical stakeholders.

  • Brief and train the organization's Sales, Training, Customer Service, and Technical Service personnel.

  • Some travel may be required.

    WHAT WE SEEK

  • 3+ years of relevant work experience and/or education.

  • Ability to effectively collaborate with internal staff, customers, and cross-functional teams.

  • Capacity to analyze problems and develop solutions.

  • Organized and high level of attention to detail.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and verbal and written communication.

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks effectively and consistently meet deadlines.

  • Computer skills - proficient computer system-based tools including but not limited to Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access) and ERP Systems

  • Experience with in-field user work/consumer research is a plus.

    EDUCATION

    A bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.

    The expected salary range is $ 55K —65K per year . Fluidra offers a comprehensive total rewards/benefits program that includes base salary, annual bonus based on performance of individual and company objectives, competitive 401K matching, paid vacation and sick time, full range of health benefits, educational assistance, etc. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
