job summary:

As a shipping clerk, you will be responsible for using a scale to weigh outgoing products, making shipping labels using fedex and ups software, packaging, moving materials, loading and unloading trucks. This position requires being able to stand for up to 8 hrs and lift up to 50lbs occasionally. This is a small warehouse. This individual will be working as part of a small team of 2-3 employees.

location: Southington, CT

salary: $17/hr

work hours: 8:00AM to 4:30PM

qualifications:

• up to 50 lbs. (heavy lifting)

skills:

• Recording shipping information

• Packing & Labeling product according to specifications

• Verify quality & quantity according to order and invoices

• Inspect material supplies and inventory

dress code:

Shirts or t-shirts must have sleeves and be without any holes or rips. Pants without any holes or rips. No profane or suggestive texts and images. Closed toe and non slip footwear only.
