Sales Coordinator – Full Time - Hybrid role needs to be local to Metro Detroit

The Sales Coordinator will be a critical role to our sales organization. We are looking for an individual who is eager to learn about many areas of the business with opportunity to grow. This individual has the potential to be a major driver of growth in the years ahead.

Responsibilities:

  • Process all approved orders within our internal systems while moving them through to the appropriate departments to assist in project setup

  • Place all hardware/software orders with vendors

  • Handle return process for any damaged or unneeded product

  • Support internal requests for hardware pricing and availability from vendors

  • Maintenance of the product/service catalogue & eCommerce Site

  • Manage vendor and partner programs to represent the Apex organization accurately to all critical partners

  • Have a thorough understanding of how to navigate processes within Microsoft's Partner Program

  • Manage leads and programmatic marketing tasks

  • Work with modern CRM platforms for marketing campaign efficacy

  • Submit vendor marketing and sales funding requests, contributing to the health and profitability of the business

  • Serve as the primary organizer and point of contact for external customer events, webinars, and internal events, ensuring seamless event management and coordination.

  • Oversee customer follow-up and appreciation campaigns, identifying and celebrating new customer acquisitions, significant wins, and project completions. Maintain systematic records of all related communications and gifts.

  • Manage mass communication with customers, including regular quarterly feedback surveys (Net Promoter Score) and notifications of office closures or important updates.

     

    Skills and Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of sales or marketing related experience – preferably in the technology space at either a service provider or partner

  • BA/BS, preferably in Marketing, Communications or Sales

  • Prior experience with CRM system - preferably ConnectWise or Microsoft Dynamics365

  • Ability to work with CRM Dashboards, to work through activities, next steps and updating prospects and customer information in a timely manner

  • Strong knowledge of working with Microsoft tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) is a must

  • Enjoy working with customers and external audiences

  • Strong organizational, presentation, and customer service skills

  • Skill in preparing written communications and materials

  • Ability to thrive in high pressure, fast paced environments
