Job Summary The candidate will work as a Specialist in Logistics, handling tasks such as entering orders into a system, coordinating routes and dispatches for deliveries, and ensuring that shipments arrive on time and in good condition. They will also communicate with account managers about any issues and provide detailed instructions to drivers.
SHIFT DETAILS:
Monday - Friday 8am - 4:30pm
Monday - Friday 9am - 5:30pm
Monday - Friday 9:30am - 6pm
Skill Requirements
Must-Have Requirements:
Logistics experience (minimum 1 year)
General knowledge of the transportation industry
Experience with order entry , routing , and dispatching
Preferred Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience writing routine reports and correspondence
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, verbal or diagram form
Skill Education
Logistics: The management of the flow of goods from point of origin to point of consumption.
Order Entry: The process of taking customer orders and inputting them into a system.
Routing: Planning the paths that delivery vehicles will take.
Dispatching: Assigning vehicles to transport goods.
Traffic Coordination: Managing the movement of vehicles to avoid delays.
Requirements-HS Diploma/GED-1+ years of logistics experience-Team player and quality characteristics
Pay Details: $18.00 to $22.00 per hour
