Position Title: HW Design Lead Engineer

*Position Duties: *Lead Electrical/Electronic Hardware engineering for the design and development of electronic drivers and components for Headlamp and Rearlamp applications. Analyze customer specifications and requirements. Oversee characterization and testing of LED-based automotive lighting systems. Responsible to create electronics designs, Worst Case Circuit Analysis, and simulation for electrical circuits. Design and develop electronic modules for lighting applications (e.g., LED Driver modules, linear drivers and DC/DC converters, LED circuits, analog circuits, etc.). Lead schematic entry (Cadence) and PSPICE simulations for electrical circuits. Create component and system DFMEA. Evaluate electrical circuits design. Work on prototypes design and characterization. Provide analysis, debugging, and measurement of electronic circuits. Support Software, Mechanical, Validation and Optics teams for mechatronic integration of the electronic components in the Lamp. Support EMC & Thermal testing and troubleshooting any design/ test-setup issues. Perform root cause analysis of any issues related to electronics design. Provide support to lamp development team on all electrical/electronic topics. Mentor junior, less-experienced team-members regarding electronics design.

Telecommuting permitted 40% of time. Domestic and international travel required up to 15% of time.
