Responsibilities

• Set up and operate precision grinding machines.

• Perform through feed grinding operations, ensuring components meet specified tolerances in the millionths.

• Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting.

• Read and interpret blueprints, job orders, and machining instructions to determine product specifications.

• Inspect and measure finished products.

• Must be comfortable standing for up to 8 hours at a time.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a centerless grinding machinist.

• Proficiency in through feed grinding.

• Understanding of precision machining and the ability to work with extremely tight tolerances.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and machining instructions accurately.

• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.

• Problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot machine issues effectively.

• Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.

The essential functions of this role include:

• wearing steel toe shoes

• manual lifting up to 50lbs

• standing for 8 hours at one time
