Description

Robert Half is hiring for a Staff Accountant with benefits to support our client on project based projects or an interim professional to join their accounting operations team.

Our client is seeking a Staff Accountant with 2+ years of operational accounting and you will increase your technical skills with small to mid-size companies in the Peninsula to include both the San Mateo and Palo Alto markets.

Requirements

Responsibilities include:

-Staff Accountant must have a Bachelor's Degree in accounting or finance.

-Support the Corporate Controller on a team of 2 - 4, full-time employees.

-Responsible to support accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions depending on the workload or possible backlog, month-end close, and may also be involved with bank and account reconciliations.

-Year-end may include audit support, 1099 and W-9 with January 31, 2025 deadline.

-Collaborate with internal management, cross-functional departments to include finance, human resource, engineering, legal and your team.

Software: NetSuite, SAP, Workday and Microsoft Excel - intermediate level is highly desired.

Education: Bachelor's Degree
