Job Description: Robert Half is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join their Full-Time Engagement Program. In this position, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely and accurate execution of payroll operations in accordance with national regulations and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage payroll processing for all employees, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and privacy.

• Liaise with the HR department to confirm staff hires, terminations, promotions, and ensure updates and adjustments to pay are accurate.

• Interpret and implement payroll related legislations and company policies.

• Resolve employee inquiries related to pay and provide excellent customer service.

• Maintain accurate and updated employee payroll records, including timesheets, taxes, and other deductions.

• Assist in payroll audits and implement corrections as necessary.

• Produce reports for the finance department on a regular basis.

• Stay updated with latest trends in payroll processing and technology.

• Contribute to improving payroll procedures to increase efficiency and ensure compliance.

Qualifications:

• A bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Prior experience in payroll or a similar role.

• Proficiency in payroll software.

• Knowledge of payroll tax laws and regulations.

• Strong numerical and analytical skills.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and confidentiality.

• Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
