About the role

Supervises the day-to-day service solutions of an assigned team and/or sub-contractors to ensure services are delivered in a safe, compliant, and timely manner within budget. This client facing role will be responsible to lead the overall work order completion, purchase order management and performance indicators. What you’ll do

  • Supervises, plans, directs, and schedules day-to-day and long-range activities for defined Pharma Services scope, and ensures all programs and procedures of the Pharma Services staff are being properly implemented.

  • Reviews work to ensure compliance with performance, safety, statutory, and regulatory requirements, as well as with all company policies, standards, and procedures.

  • Reviews and updates LIS equipment, maintenance and calibration procedures, and LTS (Laboratory Technical Services) procedures.

  • Processes performance metrics; tracks, analyzes, and reports performance in terms of quality, safety, cost, and customer satisfaction. Takes corrective action to bring about required change and ensures contract requirements have been performed at a level above the specified standards.

  • Manages contractor specifications, problems/issues, performance, and administration.

  • Ensures supply of spare parts and consumables for in-scope Pharma Services.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

What you’ll need

Strong laboratory operations management! Candidates must have experience in a pharmaceutical laboratory.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Bachelors degree in electrical, mechanical or chemical engineering is preferred. Minimum of two years of related experience and/or training. Associates degree preferred in scientific field of study preferred or equivalent related work experience.

Five years relevant field experience in laboratory and / or manufacturing pharmaceutical or equivalent regulated environments required. Knowledge of analytical instrument maintenance and / or laboratory technical services.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Laboratory Manager position is $105,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Laboratory Manager position is $145,000 position is annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
