What You Will Do
Lead, guide and coach the daily operations of the order fulfillment team including oversight of order entry, administration, and shipping processes.
Develops and maintains an effective and motivated team.
Train and cross-train new and existing employees (from multiple areas of the business) on fulfillment processes and procedures, as needed; identifies training gaps that may exists.
Monitor daily activities to ensure that accuracy, customer satisfaction, and quality standards are maintained.
Utilize CRM and ERP systems to maintain order and customer information and monitor inventory levels to maintain appropriate stock of fulfillment and marketing materials.
Report on established goals, metrics, and key objectives of the fulfillment function.
Work closely with leadership to recommend workplace layouts, safety/ergonomic changes, fulfillment methods and handling efficiencies by auditing processes to improve material flow, reduce errors, and improve overall cost.
Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for inventory control, logistics management, and order fulfillment to meet operational goals
Who We Are Seeking
Ability and desire to lead, direct, and delegate a growing fulfillment team; actively listens, communicates, and coaches team in an organized and decisive way.
Excellent verbal and written communication, critical thinker with sound judgement and time management skills.
Ability to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines when required.
Familiarity with or ability to train on equipment operation.
Strong computer knowledge: Microsoft Office, CRM, ERP, Ecommerce Sites, WorldShip or similar programs.
Ability to thrive in a dynamic work environment with rapidly changing priorities.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Proven experience in fulfillment leadership or related.
Physical Demands and Work Environment. Able to meet the physical requirements that go with working on the operations floor – standing for 2+ hours, extended reach, lifting up to 50lb, occasionally climb, kneel, or bend and specific vision ability – close, color, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
