CDL Driver - 4 Day Work Weeks - FT - \$26.00 Hrly - Home at Night and Weekends

Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate a variety of trucks, including side-bay, box truck and tractor-trailer to deliver products safely and efficiently to assigned accounts daily.
  • Safely unloads and delivers product into retail accounts.
  • Collects payment form accounts and records transaction s on customer receipt. Reconciles payments and prepares deposit to banking institution.
  • Completes all assigned deliveries promptly in an organized and efficient manner.
  • Rotates delivered products in a customers place of business to ensure product freshness.
  • Collects empty containers, rejected and/or unsold merchandise from accounts.
  • Informs regular customers of new products and services.
  • Performs daily pre and post trip vehicle inspections and completes report. Cleans inside of truck and keeps it organized.
  • Listens to and resolves service complaints.
  • Mandatory Overtime (MOT) there may be instances that require working past regularly scheduled hours, there will be exceptions made for family/personal appointments.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding safety and transportation guidelines.
  • All other tasks as assigned.

Skills:

  • Proficient in operating trucks with manual transmissions.
  • Experience with various types of trucking equipment, such as side-bays, box trucks, and tractor-trailers.
  • Knowledge of forklift and pallet jack operation.
  • Possess a valid commercial driver\'s license (CDL).
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate recordkeeping and compliance with regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with dispatchers, customers, and team members.

  • Regularly use hands to handle or feel; reach forward and overhead with arms; and talk or hear;
  • Regularly lift and/or carry 50 pounds and push/pull 50 pounds; frequently lift up to 167lbs.
  • Frequently stand, walk, bend, stoop, or crouch;
  • Frequently sit, climb or balance.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
  • Can be exposed to inclement weather conditions when working outdoors.
