Job Title: Accounts Payable Clerk
Location: South Point, OH
Job Type: Full-Time, 8AM-5PM M-F
Key Responsibilities:
Process and verify invoices for accuracy and completeness.
Prepare and execute payments in a timely manner.
Maintain accurate records of accounts payable transactions.
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
Assist in month-end closing procedures.
Communicate effectively with vendors and internal teams regarding payment inquiries.
Support audits by providing necessary documentation.
Contribute to process improvements in the accounts payable function.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in accounting or finance preferred.
Experience in accounts payable or a similar role is a plus but not required.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel); experience with accounting software is a plus.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to tasks.
Skills:
Efficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word
Data entry and filing skills
Hands-on experience with spreadsheets
Proper phone etiquette
