The City of South Jordan is currently seeking a Street Maintenance Worker who takes pride maintaining safe and accessible streets for our residents. By maintaining our city infrastructure, our Street Maintenance Workers know they are keeping the roadways clear and in good repair so South Jordan residents can get where they need to go.

During your typical day, you will be working outside with a team doing a variety of tasks that change with the seasons. In the summer, your day could include anything from working with concrete to fix sidewalks to helping our asphalt crews fix potholes and seal cracks. In the fall, you will assist with some of these same tasks as well as beginning preparations for the snowplow season. During the winter months, you will be instrumental in keeping our community safe by removing snow from main roads and neighborhood roads.

Minimum Qualifications: Graduation from High School or GED

Special Requirements: Valid Utah Class A Commercial Driver License with Tanker Endorsement, or obtain within six (6) months of employment.

Starting pay is based on current qualifications/certifications and service credit is provided for years of related job experience with qualifying past employers
