MIDFIRST BANK Commercial Card Product Manager in SOUTH JORDAN, Utah

Description

This position is responsible for the overall product design, development and ongoing management of the commercial card product and related programs, including business credit card and integrated payables. Responsible for continued development and growth of the products to be best in class and to increase sales, usage, and overall performance to maximize profitability and meet strategic business objectives. The position interfaces with various internal departments to manage all aspects of product delivery including Bank Operations, customer service support groups, Treasury Management Sales, Business/Commercial Relationship Management staff, Marketing, Commercial Services and the Credit Card Services team.

  • Manage commercial card portfolio metrics to achieve revenue and profitability goals
  • Manage commercial card rewards and rebate incentive programs, and related benefits and risk
  • Support the Treasury Management Sales team by participating in joint calls to prospects and customers
  • Identify and assess financial and operational risk, and develop solutions to minimize risk exposure for both the Bank and customers
  • Develop strategies to introduce new services and enhancements as technological changes are introduced in the market
  • Build and manage commercial card marketing sales and usage strategies and incentives to achieve projected results
  • Work with internal personnel on necessary reporting and analytics
  • Analyze portfolio performance for sales, interchange income and non-interest income and recommend performance improvement strategies
  • Communicate directly with Credit Card Services, Commercial Services and vendors to manage program, coordinate timely implementations, and achieve desired results
  • Ensure all banking and card industry regulatory and compliance requirements of commercial and purchasing card services are met
  • Maintain an in depth knowledge of card issuing industry including market trends, new payment products and customer service initiatives
  • Conduct regular review on market trends and competitors to identify opportunities
  • Recommend strategies and goals for the marketing of assigned products and services including pricing, market direction, product packaging and targeted marketing promotions
  • Work with marketing and sales personnel to identify and provide the necessary collateral materials to support marketing efforts through all delivery channels including online and in person
  • Maintain a strategic plan to provide product training and support as needed to achieve Bank needs and objectives
  • Communicate product information, changes and enhancements across all customer contact areas within the Bank
  • Interact with outside third-party vendors to coordinate quality product delivery to customers as needed
  • Perform other job related duties and special projects as assigned
  • Work with Accounts Payable to develop Bank's internal AP program and move Bank vendors to card payments
  • Work with Card Services, Accounts Payable and Human Resources to manage Bank's internal Commercial Card employee program Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience  and a minimum 3 years' experience related to bank, Treasury Management Services and/or commercial card products is required
  • Certified Purchasing Card Professional (CPCP) certification preferred
  • Advanced organizational, analytical and problem solving skills are required
  • Product management and/or project management experience preferred
  • Bank marketing and/or sales experience preferred
  • Strong personal computing skills including strong knowledge of Microsoft Office required
