Electric vehicle manufacturer seeks Chassis Assemblers for automotive production plant for installation of mechanical components and the required fluids, fuels and lubricants for proper operation and drive trains. Salary range: $18-$20.00 Must be familiar with truck air systems including airline routing, air bags, brake valves, leveling valves, etc. Requirements: High school diploma or GED. One year of related experience. Basic reading, writing and mathematical skills. Ability to understand written and verbal work instructions. Skilled in the operation of basic hand tools, shop tools and equipment. Competency in the use of measuring devices to stay within required tolerances. Knowledge of drive train, mechanical and chassis components and parts and materials following industry standards for proper mechanical operations. Ability to quickly learn processes, adapt to process changes and implement those changes. Knowledge of the manufacturing processes, procedures, and machinery. Good organizational and time management skills Manufacturing and/or automotive experience preferred. Willingness to travel if required. Must be able to pass a preemployment drug screening.
