As our Category Sales Manager - Ecommerce , you will drive revenue and profitability for our E-Commerce business channel with both our customers as well as our direct-to consumer business. You will collaborate closely with some of our largest accounts, to identify and complete all business needs/opportunities and to lead the successful execution of all aspects of the business. You will own sales strategy development and execution and other pureplay E-Commerce customers, and manage forecast, budgets, share positioning.This role will report directly to the Vice President of Sales

This role is approved to be either Remote within the United States or Hybrid in South Bend, IN, in accordance with company policy. 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead and determine product assortments online to increase and enhance sales and drive profit

  • Lead annual program negotiations to maximize account profitability

  • Advise and lead programs that drive placement to drive revenue

  • Conduct value analysis to ensure profitability during promotion

  • Design and implement promotions that drive incremental profitability and create brand awareness

  • Work closely with other Associates and cross functional teams to ensure our E-Commerce strategy coordinates and supports the broader needs of our overall sales strategy to minimize channel conflict

  • Identify and cover additional E-Comm pureplay accounts to drive growth

  • Work with customer service, logistics and operations team to ensure accurately driven POs and exceed all customers logistics metrics for fill rate and on time arrival for both customers and direct- to - consumer

  • Manage our spend vs. budget with support from finance

  • Coordinate and lead quarterly reviews of business performance against goals and customer expectations.

  • Working with our etail accounts and their marketing teams to develop and own the online strategy for key accounts.

  • Work across departments with the content team that will implement day to day merchandising updates across multiple websites within multiple ecommerce systems.

  • Your team focuses on driving sales and margin growth in the channel while supporting the company’s overall sales strategy.

  • Work hand in hand with our Marketing department that manages our direct-to-consumer site on driving the sales conversion through pay per click, organic and other forms of online marketing

  • Supervise the performance of project team members, providing and documenting performance feedback.

  • Ability to lead and empower individuals and teams.

Experience

  • 5+ years in a similar national sales/account management experience, to Include extensive experience working in the E-Commerce channel along with other major E-Commerce retailers

  • Experience leading up to 2 direct reports

  • Proficiency in the Microsoft suite of tools

  • The ability to develop and maintain relationships with customers that results in customer dedication, share gain, and repeat business

  • Critical thinking and experience developing growth

  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills

  • Multi-tasking is a must in this position

  • The ability to set and be accountable for multiple projects from multiple accounts

Pay Range:

Actual pay rate may vary depending upon location. The estimated pay range for this position is below. The specific rate will depend on a candidate’s qualifications and prior experience.

$5,175.00 - $11,275.00

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
