We are seeking an Information Security Analyst Generalist to join our Souderton based Information Security Team.

Responsibilities

The primary responsibility of this position is to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of all corporate and customer data in accordance with the company's information security program.

 

Perform daily operational real-time monitoring and analysis of security events from multiple sources.

 

Identify anomalous traffic, monitor login activity, search for indicators of compromise, and respond to detected events as appropriate.

 

Handle security incidents from identification through containment, eradication, recovery, and reporting.

 

Actively monitor emerging threat intel, plan and implement detective and preventive measures as appropriate.

 

Conduct information security risk reviews for prospective technology acquisitions.

 

Respond to audit and examination findings.

 

Coordinate remediation of vulnerability scan and pen testing findings.

 

Maintain technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing publications.

 

Comply with all laws and regulations that apply to the position, including the Univest Code of Conduct

 

Perform additional duties as required

Qualifications

3-5 years' progressive experience in an information security support position, preferably in a financial services environment.

 

Bachelor's degree in an information technology-related field

 

Hands-on experience using a diverse set of network and endpoint monitoring, alerting, and investigative tools across a variety of platforms.

 

Experience required in securing and monitoring cloud services, particularly salesforce.com and Office 365.

 

Mastery of internet routing and application protocols with emphasis on TCP/IP.

 

Programming experience with one or more scripting languages.

 

Ability to conduct research into IT security issues, products, and services required.

 

Highly self-motivated.

 

Ability to work independently and with other teams.

 

Strong written and oral communications skills

 

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
